12-Month Update at Sully Primary School

Berry Cleaning Solutions has been delivering professional school cleaning services at Sully Primary School for over 12 months — transforming standards and maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for both pupils and staff.

When we were first introduced to the site, cleaning standards had fallen significantly below expectations. There was a lack of structure, no formal cleaning schedule in place, and inconsistency in staffing. This led to areas of the school not being maintained to the required hygiene and health & safety standards.

The transition period presented its own challenges, particularly during the TUPE process. Despite this, Berry Cleaning Solutions remained focused on stabilising the site and implementing the necessary improvements.

Our first priority was to restore the school environment. A full deep clean was carried out over two days to bring the building back to a safe and acceptable standard.

Following this, we introduced a bespoke cleaning schedule tailored specifically to the layout and daily operations of the school. The site was restructured, fully staffed, and brought under consistent management, with three dedicated cleaning operatives assigned to ensure full coverage.

This approach also ensured that cleaning services were delivered reliably throughout the day, addressing previous gaps in provision and supporting the school in maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements.

Over the past 12 months, the transformation has been significant. The school is now maintained to a consistently high standard, with both staff and pupils benefiting from a clean, well-managed environment.
